7 chargesheeted in Aires attack case

PANAJI- The Panaji town police chargesheeted 7 accused in social activist, Mr Aires Rodrigues and the historian, Mr Prajal Sakhardande attack case in JMFC on Thursday, informed the investigating police officer, Mr Francisco Corte.
While disclosing the names of the accused, Mr Corte said that Sandeep Vaigankar is released on bail and Dinesh Patil is still absconding and evading arrest, but Zenito Cardozo, Aslam Bhagewadi, Asif Badighar, Sayyed Gujarati and Yakub Walikar are still languishing in the judicial custody.
The main accused in the attack case, Sandeep Vaigankar was subjected to lie detector and brain mapping and the court rejected the proposal of the police to have narco test on him. The police said that the chargesheet contains nearly 300 pages.
