Holy verse etched in Tanishq jewellery

Tanishq, a Tata Group jewellery concern, has recently launched special gold pendants in Goa having all 700 Sanskrit verses from Bhagwat Gita inscribed on them, in 24 carat gold. Available in six different designs, the pendants have been priced between Rs 13,500 and Rs 16,500.
Speaking during the launch, the regional business manager of Tanishq, Mr A Shivaram said that the pendants can be seen under a 20X microscope and can be read under a 200X microscope. “All the 18 chapters of Bhagwat Gita are inscribed in 24K gold on a 1 cm sq tablet, which is developed into a pendant,” he added.
The general manager (head-retailing), Titan Industries Ltd, Mr Saumen Bhaumik, speaking to the media said that the smallest Bhagwat Gita gold pendants have been manufactured in the first phase using nanotechnology. The Tanishq showroom, Damodar Chambers, Panaji also makes available gift vouchers, accepts customised orders and repairs/ polishes/ resizes jewellery items.
