PANAJI: After the success of its Sizzler and Mediterrean food festivals, Hotel Mandovi’s Riorico has begun its north Indian food festival called as Dawat-e-Uttar. The festival will go on till July 5, and will consist of a range of north Indian delicacies.
Some of the delicacies on offer are the Dingri/Ananass Kebab, the Macchi Amritsari and the Shahi Tangdi kebab which comprises of chicken legs stuffed with chicken mince and nuts.
Among the soups there is an assortment of different soups ranging from the Tomatar Shorba to the Sultani Yakani Soup which is a mutton and saffron soup.
In the salad section the Aloo Maharaja Chaat with souf chutuni and Murg tikka chaat will provide the spice to the your meal.
In the main course the delectable Subji Rassila and Subji Peshwari should do ample justice to your palate.
The non-veg section comprises of Tandoori Lobsters and tiger prawns, and Jinga Malai curry, Murg Khass Lucknavi and Rara Gosht. The rice section offers the tangy Tarkari Biryani and the Jinga Biryani.
The Rasmalai, the Gajar ka Halwa, and the Gulab Jamun make up the dessert irresistible.
